Giving to Johnson Memorial Medical Center
Throughout its 100 year history, Johnson Memorial Medical Center (JMMC) has relied upon the support of surrounding communities to help fund the development of new and enhanced services. In fact Johnson Memorial Hospital first came into existence thanks to the compassion of two community residents, Cyril and Julia C. Johnson, who generously donated the funds necessary to build and endow it. In years since, countless individuals, civic organizations, churches, businesses and corporations have come forward to ensure that the seed planted by the Johnsons so many years ago continues to grow and prosper.
Recently, JMMC and Saint Francis Care signed an affiliation agreement designed to maintain Johnson Memorial as an independent source of high quality healthcare and expand its clinical services in North Central Connecticut. JMMC is now a Saint Francis Care Partner, but both JMMC and Saint Francis will continue to be separate institutions, and all contributions to JMMC will stay right here in your community.
Your contributions today to JMMC will help to ensure that local residents of all ages enjoy convenient, local access to the highest quality health care. Gifts to any JMMC entity or program can be made in the form of cash, stocks or bonds, and may even be made in memory of or in tribute to a loved one. Bequests are also welcome and encouraged. Because the members of JMMC are 501(c)3 organizations, most donations are tax-deductible.
