Johnson Memorial Medical Center Welcomes Board Certified Podiatrist to its Medical Staff

Johnson Memorial Medical Center (JMMC) recently announced the addition of Laura Vander Poel, DPM, to its Medical Staff. Dr. Vander Poel specializes in podiatric medicine and surgery and is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association and the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Vander Poel completed her undergraduate degree at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts, received her medical degree at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, and completed residency at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Vander Poel is also certified in advanced wound care and will treat patients at Johnson Memorial Hospital's Advanced Wound Center located at 140 Hazard Avenue, Suite 106, in Enfield.
