Johnson Memorial Medical Center Welcomes Board Certified Oncologist to its Medical Staff

Johnson Memorial Medical Center recently announced the addition of Jaykumar Thumar, M.D., a Board-certified oncologist, to its Medical Staff. Dr. Thumar is part of Saint Francis Medical Group's hematology-oncology practice, which staffs Johnson Memorial Cancer Center's Karen Davis Krzynowek Infusion Center. Dr. Thumar also sees patients for consultations and examinations at the Johnson Memorial Cancer Center. Dr. Thumar received his medical degree from Gujarat University in India, completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Yale School of Medicine, and completed his residency at University of Connecticut Health Center. He served as Chief Resident at University of Connecticut from 2008 to 2009. The Johnson Memorial Cancer Center is located at 142 Hazard Avenue in Enfield.
