JMH Celebrates its Centennial

Johnson Memorial Hospital Celebrates its Centennial

Johnson Memorial Hospital (JMH) - initially known as the Cyril and Julia C. Johnson Memorial Hospital - first opened its doors to the community on April 21, 1912. During the first year, 160 patients were admitted and 36 operations performed. It was located on East Street in the Stafford Springs borough. The hospital remained at this location until 1975, at which time it moved to its current location on Route 190 in Stafford Springs.

100th Anniversary Campaign

JMH's 100th Anniversary Campaign will run throughout 2012 and is devoted to enhancing the hospital's operating suites, radiology and nursing equipment.
